EOTC

In week 6 we had a whole week learning about team work. We did so many fun thing in groups. Like going to kids republic and going to the rock climbing place in groups. Like in the picture of me rock climbing. I got to the top of the hardest rock climbing wall there was. I felt proud of myself.

My Learning Goals

Today we looked through our reports from last year. We identified a next step (goal) for reading, writing and maths. Here are my goals:

Maths:my goal is to be able to read and add decimals.

To achieve this goal I will:ask my mum to give me money (&weight) questions at home.

Reading:my goal is to find the main ideas of a text and to summarise what is happening in the book.

To achieve this goal I will:my mum and me will do it together at home.

Writing:my goal is to add my personal feeling into my writing.

To achieve this goal I will:do writing at home and add my feelings.

We also looked at our STAR results.

• Word recognition I got _10__ out of 10.
• Sentence comprehension I got _9__ out of 10.
• Paragraph comprehension I got _10__ out of 15.
• Vocabulary I got _9__ out of 10.

I am going to focus on:paragraph comprehension.

To improve in this area I will:play mr nussbaum.
