Photography

We worked with Flou7ish to do photography. Here are some of the photos I took. Alessandra and I made a photo essay together.

Triangles

We learned about triangles. It was easy to learn the names.

Lucas grows down.

We read a book called Otto grows down then we made a move called Lucas grows down. I was the mum. In the movie the time goes backwards. I enjoyed acting I want to do it again.

Gymnastics

We do Gymnastics for sports start. I love gymnastics I learned how to do rolls, balance and travel. My favourite roll was the elephant. My favourite way to travel was the chasse. My favourite way to balance was the pike. Alessandra and I made a roll, balance and travel Pic Collage.

Flat Pack

 Design Brief
We want a decorative model that can be put on top of the shelves by the windows. The model needs to be:

• Made from cardboard
• A flat pack design
• Good enough to go in a shop

We had a go at following instructions to make a flat pack Christmas Tree. We used this concept to help us to create our own flat pack using the design process.

As part of the design process we created prototypes and reflected on what worked and what didn't.

I made an awesome turtle. It was very hard to slide in the slots.

Te Reo Phrases

This term we have been doing Te Reo.

My group made an awesome slide. I find Te Reo easy. My goal is to say Te Reo all the time.

Seed2Table

On Friday 2nd September we had our first Seed2Table. We are the youngest class to have done this programme. We were split into two groups. 

One group worked in the kitchen and the other group learnt about plants. After morning tea the groups swapped over.

The dishes we made were:

• Fettuccine pasta
• Tomato sauce
• Meatballs
• Black bean brownies and Cauliflower cheese 

This is my table. My group was with my mum. The Cauliflower cheese was delicious it was my favourite part of the meal.
