This term we are studying 'planet earth and beyond'. Part of this inquiry includes looking at how we get shadows, as well as day and night. Over the term we will be doing different investigations to better our understanding. Below is a sample of my current thinking.
I have noticed that our shadows go the opposite way of the sun. The shadows get shorter as the day goes on but then they get longer but I don't know why?
Great to see you are thinking carefully about how we get shadows, as well as day and night. We will do some experiments next week with light and shadows to try to answer your question.
